A Night in New Orleans: A Benefit Event

You are cordially invited to join us for a fundraiser to support the SOCES PTA. 

This exciting event will raise funds for the 1,200 students 

at William O. Schaefer and Cottage Lane Elementary Schools. 

Your involvement helps provide essential programs for our students, 

including arts enrichment, teacher grants, and more. 

When: Thursday, March 6, 2025 from  6:00pm - 10:00pm
Where: The View on the Hudson, Piermont, NY
Who: We welcome all parents, community members, and friends ages 21+

Event Details

Attendees must purchase a ticket for this event in advance. 

Your ticket purchase includes a cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres from 6:00-7:00 PM, buffet/carving station dinner starting at 7:00 PM, dessert, coffee/tea, and soft drinks. If you have any special dietary restrictions, please inform us when purchasing a ticket.  

• Check-in Time: Check-in begins at 5:45 PM.

• Valet/Coat Check: Complimentary valet and coat check will be available. Please tip in cash if you choose to use these services. Self-parking is also available behind and around the venue. 

• Seating: There will be no assigned seating for this event, and you are free to roam and mingle as you wish. Plenty of high top tables, standard tables, and seating will be available throughout the venue. 

• Drinks: Soft drinks are included with your ticket purchase. Premium open bar can be purchased directly from The View on the Hudson for $25 (cash only), or you may purchase individual drinks from the venue.

• Event Theme: Laissez les bons temps rouler/Let the good times roll! A festive evening transporting you to New Orleans featuring purple, green, gold, beads, and bling.

• Attire: Your preference.

• Entertainment: DJ and dancing throughout the night, complimentary bourbon and wine tastings provided by a vendor, cigar rollers, social photo booth, and more fun surprises. 

• Optional Purchases: Hand-rolled cigars and a special selection of bourbon and wine bottles may be purchased directly from our vendors. Note that purchased bottles may not be consumed on property. An outdoor heated patio area will be open should you choose to enjoy a purchased cigar, weather permitting.

• Raffles: Stay tuned for more information on the raffle items that will be available and how to reserve tickets. Baskets will not be raffled at this event - more information on an upcoming tricky tray event is forthcoming.
